Flower Season Summer

Highlighting this perennial are spreading mats of fern-like rosettes, along with deeply divided leaves of a grey green color. Red flowers bloom in summer and can be dried for floral arrangements. The yarrow propagate easily from rooted cuttings or division, which should be performed in the early spring or fall. Following bloom, one should dead head the plant and divide the clumps when it appears crowded. This plant can reach 3’ tall and wide and is used as a ground cover. It does well in full sun and well draining soil. It attracts birds and butterflies.
